Hi DGM! If installing a TV stand or mounting bracket, you will need a large surface with enough space for the TV to rest on. Cover the workspace area with a protective cloth, making sure that it is clear of anything that might scratch the TV. Have someone help you, when picking up the TV grab the bottom and top of the frame, also known as the bezel. Be sure not to put pressure on the screen as this could damage the unit. Gently lay the TV screenside down on the cloth for installation of the swivel base. ^Tim
