The operating system is not Android nor Brickhouse(Roku), it is Tizen (based on Linux) so your choices will be highly limited. If you currently use the NBC Sports Gold app you will need to use a Roku, Amazon Fire, or Apple, etc. If you want to depend on downloaded apps then buy a Sony that will allow adding apps. Beware that not all Sony's do that...….I found out the hard way as I did with the Samsung OS....
