• I hung mine 23 inches from the ceiling (9ft)

• Ideally When Seating in the SOFA/Couch TV must be eye centered at 42" from ground/floor. Now if you want to have 30" high console than TV may not be centered at 42", but it will still be ok as long as seating is at 15 Feet away from TV

• Sit where your going to be watching the tv. Take a tape measure and measure from your eyes to the floor straight down. This is the height of the middle of the tv screen when mounting the tv.

• It doesn’t have to be mounted too high but depending on the location you might need an electrician to install an outlet up the wall by the tv mount. This could be a bigger job if it is an exterior wall.
