A:AnswerI bought Q7 and took it back for a Q8. The contrast and colors as well as viewing angle is so much better on the Q8. The 400 gift card softened the price difference.
Here is a helpful site that does some good comparisons between Q8 and Q9, For me I choose to stick with the Q8 and am thrilled.

A:AnswerHi JT! The feature you are referring to is called eARC and is enabled on the ARC port (HDMI 3) within the Q80T. This feature allows an uncompressed Dolby Atmos signal to pass through to other eARC enabled audio devices. When the TV receives a Dolby Atmos signal from any of the sources you are viewing on your TV, it will send this signal through the eARC port to your Dolby Atmos enabled audio device for optimal sound quality. ^Tim
A:AnswerJCAZ, the dimensions of the pedestal on the 75Q80T are (W x H x D) 16.5" x 9.8" x 12.5". You will have about 3.05" of space between your TV and the stand to place your soundbar. ^Gina
A:AnswerRJohnson - The No Gap Wall Mount is designed for televisions that have the One Connect Box. The 75Q80T does not offer the One Connect Box.
