I had the same issue. There appears to be an early failure problem with the power supply on the S90D 77-inch TVs. Failure typically occurs after 1 or 2 months use. TV won't turn on and the red standby light does not come on. Repair is pretty simple - replace power supply. But no guarantee that power supply won't fail as well. I chose to return my TV and go with a different model. Too bad because the picture was excellent while the TV worked.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This television has a chronic malfunction issue . Mine died in first two weeks. Samsung has made garbage with this model. Get a refund asap
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is a new "feature" i'm afraid to say it but we all wastes 2 grand here. I am on my second S90D Best Buy replaced one in first 60 days and samsung tech have been to my house 2 times to repair the replacement... Honestly what Bravia is offering is better for similar money. Like their refrigerators Samsung has cheapened the brand and their quality of product. Let's be clear this isn't some black friday 200$ walmart job here...its a 2400$ high end TV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, absolute garbage TV. Same issue two months after buying it, then failed again two weeks later. Buy an LG C4 instead. It's a shame because it does have a great picture.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Same issue. On my second TV and it failed as well. My first one was two months after purchase. The second one I got failed a month after purchase.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I purchased a new one for Costco and just over three months later it made a pop and quit. After dealing with Samsung back and forth with e-mails for over two months they said they could not get anyone out to repair it and sent me a refund. I went back to Costco and bought another thinking it was a fluke but one month later here I am this morning and it happened to this TV as well. I am in the no questions asked return policy from Costco this time but is a hassle taking it down off the wall to return, getting a different TV and installing and programming it. DONT BUY THIS TV !
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Garbage tv. Power supply burns out after a month. Samsung zero help. New psb is a band aid not a solution...fails again
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.same happened to me, purchased oct 2024 and died march 2025, ultra frustrating!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Same issue here. TV is only 3 months old and powered off while watching. Can't power on despite all troubleshooting steps. So disappointed in the quality of this expensive TV - it had a great picture. Now must wait a week for service technician and have no television in the mean time. Had a Sony for 10 years without an issue and only replaced it because we wanted OLED.
