I would suggest 15 to 20ft away. 10ft is pretty close for this monster.

I think 10 foot viewing distance will be fine for this TV. Keep in mind it is difficult to see the improvement 4k offers from a distance. I currently own this TV and find myself moving closer to see the finer details in the picture.

absolutely not. me and my wife sit approx. 13 ft away and we know that we could move our couch closer to help enjoy just how amazing this tv is. Go and get it! merry xmas.
