So far, so good!
||Posted .There really aren't many reviews out there on the 82" model and I bought this sight unseen as there also weren't any near by Magnolia stores to actually SEE one. But based on previous, much smaller Samsungs I own, I figured I couldn't go wrong.... and I didn't. Picture-wise, I like everything about this TV! If you need the size I don't think you can go wrong either!

This tv is great for entertainment as it should be
||Posted .Besides being just a big television it has great quality. The smart remote is very usefull with all the accessories and programs I can link with it. It makes it so much easier to just control everything with one remote instead of 2 or 3 remotes. If you install a nice surround system like I did (BOSE) it’s like having a mini movie theatre. My kids love it. Well worth it.

Simply Outstanding
||Posted .This Samsung television is simply outstanding. The picture quality brings the images to life. It is easy to use. I used Geek Squad service for delivery and setup. They did a great job installing it in the correct position for the room. I highly recommend this television.

Picture is amazing
Posted .I purchased this 82Inch beast because i was amazed with the quality size and features. I do not use regular cable for tv service i have Netflix,Amazon prime video, and youtube tv just to liat a few apps i also have a antenna that doesn't get used often however even when using ota antenna you can see details that you have never seen before even at close range it does not have video lag that causes them headaches when viewing a large screen to close from a cheap manufacture. This product is great i will be reviewing alot more Samsung products as well soon as we are doing many upgrades to our home. if you have questions reply here and ill try to answer.

Do not let the tech heads talk you out of this TV
||Posted .When we bought our house we purchased a 70" Visio to put above the fireplace in our main family room. It is a big fireplace And the Vizio never quite filled the space. Plus, we always felt something was lacking in the color and deep blacks when watching movies.. So we searched and found this 82" Samsung at Best Buy and fell in love with it. Unfortunately our 1st Best Buy sales person tried his hardest to talk us out of it. Saying a back lit 65" Sony was a much better option than this side lit Samsung. This disappointed us because we really like this TV and were ready to write a check that night. We were so frustrated that we left without buying and almost nixed the idea. A week or so later we went to a different Best Buy store and talked with Michael in Delafield. While he understood there are advantages to certain features and technologies built into every TV, Michael really listened to how we watch TV (which is primarily movies and some sporting) and he thought based on our viewing preferences this TV would be great. And he was right. We love watching movies and the extra size makes for a huge improvement in our viewing experience and it fits perfectly in this space. Regarding the TV we love the quality picture. The screen is plenty bright. Scenes are vivid. Colors are rich and the blacks are deep black -while being able to see details in dark scenes. Plus we have not noticed any type of blurring during an action scene or during football / hockey games. We have enjoyed this TV a month and we are confident we made the right choice. I highly recommend it.

Great Picture
||Posted .I replaced my Panasonic PT-AE8000U projector and 100 inch Daylite screen with the Samsung 82 inch 4K LED flat screen. Since I don't have access to 4K programming, I will compare the two TV's displaying a standard 1080P HD format. A) overall detail is approximately the same. B) the Samsung is significantly better in terms of brightness, color saturation and contrast ratio. Paying more than double the price of an equivalent 65" flat screen to get an additional 17" hurt, but being used to a 100" picture, I didn't want anything smaller than the 82". Of course I could have mortgaged my house and got a $100,000 plus 120" flat screen, but that wasn't going to happen! Can't wait for some 4K programming so I can see the Samsung really shine! Overall, I'm am very satisfied.

Excellent product and value
||Posted .I've been following the 4K HDR TV market for quite a while now. We all know the quality gets better, the price gets lower over time. But at some point you have to decide your entry point in order to enjoy the current technology at a great value instead of waiting until the technology is dated. This 82 inch TV at this price represented the best value for me. My family enjoys the amazing picture quality and the size of the screen in our viewing room, and I know I did not pay an arm and leg for it.

Q: QuestionWhat is the distance between the 2 feet on both ends of the TV?
Asked by dani.
- A:Answer There are two positions for the feet not mentioned in any of the instructions nor online but shown in a diagram on the top of the carton. Out of the box, the feet are 63.3 inches apart. They can be moved to 48.8 inch apart.
Answered by UncleRickey
Q: QuestionCan the tv feet be move in from its original position?
Asked by Larry.
- A:Answer Yes - - the legs can be installed in two different locations. We had to move ours to the inside openings to fit on our TV stand.
Answered by Shelly
Q: QuestionHow do I remove the legs from this tv??
Asked by Kin.
- A:Answer If it's anything like my Samsung - you have to pop the little cover off on the back of the TV right behind the leg. Mine had a little downward pointing arrow on it pointing to where you lift up or out. That exposes the two screws. Unscrew them as far as they will go but they may not come out. Then the leg has two little tabs that lock it in place. I believe you should lift the leg a bit away from the tv and pull down away from the screen . That should do it. or just yell and tug and yank in any ol' direction like i did and they evenually popped out.

Q: QuestionCan this TV be mounted on the wall. I don't mind it on a table but I prefer it to mounted. To me, that would be a deal breaker
Asked by Tupacalypse.
- A:Answer Yes, the TV can be mounted and it looks GREAT!

Q: QuestionYou can get the same 75" Television for around a thousand dollars cheaper. Both televisions are good size. Does the additional 7" (going from 75" to 82") screen size addition make it worth spending the money? It very well may make a difference, but....
Asked by smartorlavish.
- A:Answer Thats a big difference in size. Go for the larger if your room can handle it. I went from a 82" screen to a 78" curved screen. My screen seems a little to small for me, and that is on a 4" difference.

Q: QuestionHow do you remove the feet so you can mount it in the wall?
Asked by Lisa.
- A:Answer On mine (2020 Samsung class 8), there were no holding screws. The feet were on a 6” or so post that was pushed into the corresponding hole on the bottom of the TV. So, they did just pull out, although with some force and jiggling required.

Q: QuestionWhere would this TV compare along the Vizio Series Spectrum (P,M,E,D)? We currently have 2 Vizios, an M-series and an E, and are considering purchasing the P series in the 75 inch. Does anyone have experience with Samsung that could help us out? Thanks
Asked by USMS1981.
- A:Answer I have owned several of both. However in all of my homes and in my offices I now only own Samsung. I have never had a single issue with Samsung except when the delivery company damaged in shipping. I currently own 18 Samsung TV sets and size ranging from 42 inch to 82 inch, 6 series through Q9F QLED. In the past when I owned flat screen Vizio TV's I have had issues ranging from taking 5 minutes before you could hear any sound, static lines, burnt pixels, failure on only corners of screen blacked out, complete screen failure but could still hear audio and no audio at all but screen worked. Most of the issues I had with Vizios surprisingly started 1 month to 6 months after warranty expired. I am generally not someone who would say paying extra would matter but in this case Samsung is by far the best buy for quality and for hassle free.

Q: QuestionHi how does this 82inch model differ from the new premium model that is double the price ?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer I think it's great. Buying the QLED to me made no since. Those that buy the QLED in this size and price are a lot like wine snobs that claim to taste hints of fruits, nuts and woods in wines. If you like just plane ole watching tv get this one, it's the best bang for the buck.
