“Is it 4K or 8k and what is the difference”

• This TV is 8k, currently there isn't much 8k content available, but in my 85 inch model the 8k upscaling does make for a better picture if you are using high quality content like 4k blu-rays. 8k resolution alone is not a good reason to buy this set, it's all of the other premium features that Samsung packages into this set that makes it a great TV

• The 85Q900T is an 8K television. The difference is, 8K has a greater resolution than 4K, to deliver a clearer picture. A 4K TV had a maximum resolution 4096 x 2160 pixels, with 8K that increases to 7680 x 4320 pixels. ^Celina
