The picture on this TV is awesome! Watching TV is a whole new experience compared to my 5 year old Sony 75” HD, which I was very happy with. The remote is easy to use too. Sports, nature, and live shows are amazing! Although there are no broadcasts in 8K, i was able to watch some incredible 8K videos on YouTube. Can’t wait until 8K movies... The salesperson at Best Buy was very helpful. Answered all our questions. Best Buy also installed the TV on the wall. The installation guys knew what the were doing. Hid all the wiring in the wall and made sure I was happy with the entire install. Kudos to my installers!! Great job!

When the veiw is showing the play, its ver pixelated, players are not clear and it looks like a blurred halo around every player. Dissappointed for the pricd

Color is vibrant. Upscaling to 8k works well. I have had problems with streaming services with the high activity with stay at home usage. Fine Tuning for the best color and picture takes time. The cost is still on the high side. I Added a Samsung Q symphony Soundbar (Q80) to the system supplementing the TVs speakers for a much rich sound. Plan on adding Q Symphony.

I bought this TV for a bright room with south facing windows. It has good reflection handling and is bright enough to overpower daytime reflections. Good viewing angles and excellent deep blacks. The TV's design is stunning with the infinity bezel. The TV moves quickly through the built in apps but occaisonally the sound will be interupted while watching You-Tube videos, not often enough to be too distracting but it does occaisonally happen. The TV it replaced was a 2014 79 inch edge-lit LG. This TV is night and day better than that. Excellent color volume, when I play 4k blu-rays the 8k resolution a provides noticeably better picture than my old 4k set I am confident this set will not disappoint anyone with reasonable expectations. An upscaled SD video won't look any better on this set than it does on a 1080p or 4k set, you can put lipstick on a pig but it's still an SD pig. With a 4k source however it delivers a remarkably good picture. Very little blooming on this set, the dimming zone control works great. This TV looks the part of a premium flagship, it's well built and the lack of a bezel makes the picture appear to float in the air

I have been looking for a new tv for months. Didn't know if I wanted OLED or LG Nano or a Samsung. I decided against OLED and tried to get a 75 LG Nano. First tv was cracked and the replacement was cracked also. I went for the Samsung 75 next but it never came and so I canceled it. I started looking during the pre Black Friday sales so I was bummed I couldn't get a new tv. Originally I had looked at the 85 but it wasn't in stock so I went with the 75. I wanted the 85 but I didn't know if it would ever come back in stock. I just checked to see three days after I canceled the 75 and it was in stock!! Two weeks later and it came in! Had Geek Squad install it with the in wall installation and this baby is awesome. Its bright and lights up the room. Picture is fantastic. Its worth the money and Ill never go back to anything lower than 85 inches. Looks awesome on the wall. Finally after four tries I got my tv.

Pros: Infinity bezel is very cool. Good upscaling. Excellent remote. Beautiful design. Cons: Crushed blacks. Blown highlights. Bad horizontal banding and a visible light array in certain scenes. Poor dimming algorithm results in randomly dimmed scenes and spotlight effects. For the money, this TV is a poor value and its color, shadow and highlight performance is not acceptable at this price point. There are a number of processing issues and significant artifacts. This TV is not ready for prime-time as it is. Incidentally, I have the latest upgraded firmware. I have returned it for the Sony Z8H

Great TV, love the infinity edge design! Looks beautiful when mounted on the wall. Great picture quality and a lot of good features. One reminder, all Samsung TVs do not support Dolby Vision.

Very nice TV - great quality picture, games look incredible and smooth. Otherwise, not really sure how to review a TV at this cost, of course it’s a great TV.... Would i recommend this to purchase? I mean if you have the financial means, go for it, but don’t put yourself in debt to buy it. I mainly bought it because the last TV I purchased was a 2006 Samsung 720p (top quality at the time) and it was time for an upgrade. I only chose this model because I don’t want to buy another TV for 13+ years again. Ps my 720 still works and it’s just in my gym room now. I hope this one last just as long. Honest opinion Samsung just makes great products. Can’t go wrong either way with this TV or another Samsung option.

We got so lucky when purchasing this 8k tv. Its amazing and hope to find another deal for another tv here soon. Everything is great

Great TV. Excellent picture quality even in sunlight. I have not had a chance to use a K video, they just is not very much contact out there.

Head and shoulders better than the 82 Q900R television I owned. Mainly bought this one due to the eArc support. Alongside my Sonos set up, I feel like my living room set up is now complete. Love the sleek look and how it hugs my wall.

Wife loves it ... that's all that's important. 8K unit that is way too heavy for 1 person to install. Very good picture, must have an after market sound bar system.

This by far is the clearest most vibrant picture I have ever seen on a Television!!!!! I have another Samsung 75’’ QLED but it’s only 4K . It isn’t the cheapest 85 ‘’ TV but the difference between the 4K and the 8K are night and day. I would recommend this with every once of my buying power. So if you can purchase this TV I promise you will not ever be disappointed in the picture . Anyway thanks for listening and good luck with whatever you purchase!!!!!

Unbelievable tv the picture quality is by far the best I have ever seen. Evan was my salesman and he was very knowledgeable about this tv. Yes it was expensive but when you get it home and see the picture quality it's worth every penny. The colors jump off the screen and are so vibrant. To get the full experience I bought the Samsung Q850 soundbar and the sound during action movies are beyond my expectations.

The TV is fantastic, the quality of the screen is unmatched, definitely a step up from a regular UHD TV. Now to get full advantage of it then one needs to get everything that is designed for it (Cables, vids, media). Also, realize that theres isnt alot of 8k media yet available. But other than that the TV is wonderful.

....so far so good!!! Still getting used to this new 8-K technology. Lots of smart stuff to get into. If there’s a down side to this purchase, it seems that with so much to digest, by the time 8-K streaming is wide spread, I’ll be more then ready to enjoy it fully! But right now even 4-K Blu-ray movies are fantastic!!

totally happy with tv, installers were great looking forward to many happy hours of watching everything on this tv.

Worth the money. Breath taking picture quality when u get 4K or better (when your streaming) I am very impressed. The tv weights above 100 and the stand has to be tilted at all times because of it but I personally don’t see that as a bad thing.

My experience was excellent. Dominic who was the Belmar Home Theater store salesman was very professional, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable on all TVs and home theater electronics. I would highly recommend Dominic be promoted immediately to either a higher management position or be promoted and transferred to another store that has a bigger home theater section. Best Buy should reassess and re-evaluate Dominic’s skill sets and his current and future potential within the company.
