A:AnswerI think is has a little fan or something to keep it cool. If you look underneath it has little vents. The noise should be barely noticeable. I keep mine right next to the bed and it has never disturbed me.
A:AnswerNot sure about the magnet but I do have an otterbox on my s5 note. It works but you have to move it around sometimes to get it to charge. Take the otterbox off and it charges great however you lay it on.
