Yes and no. The family hub has limited apps support. So if you are thinking to use Netflix or Disney, these apps are not supported (as far as I know). However, the family hub has support for some of TV channels, web browser etc. Secondly, it has limited internal memory which limited how much app you can install even if it supports more app. We use youTube using the web broswer.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It does not. It functions similarly to an Android phone. Like a Samsung S8. You have some Alexa functionality. YouTube etc but TV not so much not with it's aspect ratio. Hope that helps.
