“I don't want the beverage center, just the auto fill pitcher(more storage inside). The question is can I fill a glass of water from the autofill pitcher area? I am aware I can fill a glass of water via using the pitcher, but that is not what I am asking.”

You can not fill your glass from outside. You can only fill your glass from outside only if you have beverage center.

No, the Autofill Pitcher area will only work with the Autofill Pitcher properly placed, its functionality enabled in the control panel, and the door closed. The Autofill Pitcher area will not work as a water dispenser unit. Leo

I was concerned about the loss of door space myself, but there are two shelves above, and one on the bottom of the inside of the door. Unless you have a family of 10, I think you'd be hard pressed to run out of room with this refrigerator.

She was an interior auto filler with NO second auto filler. On that note thank you for asking this question, I have been rattling my brain as to why we can’t fill our water bottles. A bit annoyed they didn’t explain this to us or we would have bought the exterior filler. They said it would fill inside. Blah
