• The HDMI ports on this monitor are 2.0 not 2.1. However HDMI is backwards compatible so you should be fine, just bear in mind the features and throughput of 2.1 is not available, only the features of HDMI 2.0.

• I have mine and love it, but I would recommend using the DisplayPort cable that comes with the monitor, and find an thunderbolt to DisplayPort adapter until HDMI 2.1 becomes more mainstream.
