“Does this phone update to the latest version of android, and what is the Wi-Fi band?”

• Yes it updates to the latest version. You may get a notification as to update. You then go through the process to start it. It does take awhile to update. I would guess 20-30 minutes. Right now the version is android 11 and will update to 12 very soon but that will be most likely the last update for the A12. I use my PC WIFI to connect while at home. You do not use data that way with carrier. PC has 2.4 and 5 g.

• As of today it uses Android 11. There should be an update soon for Android 12. That will be the last for this model A12. You should be able to use this phone with any WIFI.
