“I have 2 questions: 1) does this require a Samsung ID to login, or can I use my Microsoft ID? I don’t have a Samsung phone. 2) my husband and I do Zoom calls together, so we can’t use a headset. Are the built-inspeaker and microphone adequate?”

1. you dont need a samsung account 2. it works fine for zoom if at a table but the speaker is on the bottom, so if youre keeping it on your lap with say a blanket, its muffled and poop
