• You answer the call via your phone or I believe there is an option where you can touch the earbuds instead. Not sure of a precise distance, but you can definitely walk across a large room and be fine. I probably wouldn't push it more than 25ft or so. They charge via USB so you can plug it into any USB port.

• Tap the side of the right earbud twice, It can reach about 35' max, and they charge either with a usb-c cable, or a wireless dock
