• They will work. However the person you're talking to will hear literally everything in the background. Normal wind that you typically wouldn't pay attention to sounds like you're in the middle of a tornado.

• Not sure with an Iphone but I think they do or they should work too as there is an instruction, an option on how to answer calls, adjust the volume and few others with little taps on the buds. Sound/mic quality should be okay unless the buds are damaged or defective.
