• I wouldn't use these as earplugs or ear protection. They r noise canceling, but shouldn't be used where ear protection is needed. OSHA would have a fit. But these could be concealed under an over- the-ear protection device.

• The ANR for these is very, very subtle. I would be hesitant to rely on them during a plane trip. They are definitely not suitable as protection.
