Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The sound isolation is really effective. When you turn on the ambient sound pass through on these it sounds very artificial. Plus, if you have any kind of a breeze that is all you will hear. I only use these when I want the world to disappear, but I bought a pair of Plantronics 3150s to use when I really want to hear what's going on around me as well as my music.
