No, I believe that the only way to power off the Buds+ is by putting them in the storage case and closing the lid. When your phone rings, you must open the lid, which turns the Buds+ back on instantly, and place them back in your ears. It was such a convoluted process, added to volume issues I had with mine, I returned them.

They power themselves off when you take it out of your ear
