Your main problem is going to be whether or not Android has a software driver available to operate the drive. You'll know when you plug it in. Generally this is never a problem for PC or Mac computers - tablets who knows ??
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't know about the Galaxy 4, I have a 7" Galaxy 3. The problem is with the operating system being just old enough to not allow compatibility. My tablet runs Android version 4.4.2. I recommend going in to your tablet settings>about device to find out your operating system and then do a Google search about compatible device. I didn't have tablet with me when I made purchase. That's why I trusted the associate....which I strongly recommend NOT to do. I found out the hard way after doing some research when it wouldn't recognize the adapter.
