This device will not accept many larger/high speed usb drives. It would also be great if they allowed charging at the same time this is being used like the HDMI adapter does. Lastly, I would also like to have a micro USB 3 version for stability sake alone. It does add functionality to my phone and tablet.

Its very good product specially when you have to transfer files from your old computer and look it up and download directly from memory stick.

Great adapter for my Samsung Tablet and my ancient USB photo printer. I couldn't figure out how to print stuff from my tablet to my old HP Photosmart Printer which has a USB cord. Best Buy has a Samsung sales specialist who knew exactly what I was looking for ! My only wish is that it should be about 3 feet in length because my printer is so far away from my chair ! But then again that's the reason there are wireless printers :)

I'm so glad I found one of these. I didn't think they made them any more with the age of WiFi and wire less everything. I bought this adapter so that i could plug in one end to the USB cord of my printer and the other end, the micro USB to my Galaxy E-Tab. you see, my E-Tab had an update so I updated it, when I did that, I lost all capability of using Wireless anything. So basically My Tab can recognize my wire less printer, but will not print. so by hard wiring the printer to my E-Tab, I am able to print by using the direct USB port. This product also saved me a ton of $, it allowed for me not to have to purchase a new tablet. (for the moment) It did the trick. A must have in a sticky situation in a high passed field position where printing a receipt is mandatory for every client.

I transfered all my data from my iPhone to my galaxy. Every photo, song and contact transfered without a problem. I still use it to transfer old songs from my iPhone to my Samsung Galaxy Note 5 too.

I have a decent USB headset. This product allows me to use them with my Galaxy Note 5 and my Galaxy View. It has been my experience that when it comes to USB cords or charger cords buy a quality product. So far I believe this to be a quality product. I have bought cheaper products off of eBay in the past. They frequently do not work well for very long if at all and they usually do not fit well when plugging them in. This micro USB adapter fits well and has performed flawlessly so far. I haven't had it that long but if it fails on me I will update this review.

Great quality, very reliable cable. Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Only wish is that it could take advantage of higher transfer speeds.

Heard about these on Imgur. The box says it is for a scanner. Don't listen to the box. You can use this bad boy for all kinds of devices with your Android smartphone. Preferably the Galaxy Note 4, or even 5 when that comes out. Recommended that you research all the extra abilities this device can do for your smartphone.

I have used this product with many different brands of USB thumb drives successfully. I have copied files from the drive to my phone and visa-versa. I have only used this device with Samsung brand phones; Galaxy S5 and Note 4. I am very pleased.

This item serves as a connector between my keyboard and my tablet. I had broken my previous one and searched all over for a replacement. It was only the team at Best Buy who knew what I was looking for and able to fill me need. The product does just what it is supposed to.

I bought it as a gift and they absolutely love it. They used it to transfer data from a device which the screen was not properly working through their laptop. It is also great for hooking up your phone or tablet to the tv so that you can watch movies or Netflix.

Plugged this into my NextBook so I could connect a mouse and Flash drives (through a USB hub) and now I can develop on this while I am out and about. Next, we are going to plug my wife's sewing machine into her NextBook and see if it works there too.

I can't believe that I didn't know about this adapter until I consulted with the Samsung rep at Best Buy. It is exactly what I needed especially for transferring pictures from my camera to my tablet. It is a definite time saver.

I had decided that, for now on, I would only take a light-weight device like my Galaxy Tab PRO to my vacation trips, instead of carrying an awkward and bulky laptop. The problem? I still wanted to take pictures with my great Nikon camera and be able to post them to web later on the day. However, the Nikon USB cables were not compatible with the Galaxy Tab micro-USB ports. With this cable-adapter, I was able to seamless load my vacation pictures from the Nikon camera to the Galaxy Tab every evening and immediately post them on Facebook for my friends delight. So, sorry my "dear" laptop, but, thanks to the Galaxy Micro-USB-to-USB Adapter, you are no longer coming with me on my vacations!!

I bought this to allow me to have more music and to transfer files from my Galaxy S6 and it works great! I tried plugging in a WD hard drive but it didn't work. I hoped it could power a portable external drive.

Bought this to have in my kit of things for my S5. Works, but be careful to read and follow the instructions --- ATTACH USB DEVICE TO PORT PRIOR TO CONNECTING TO PHONE/TABLET OTHERWISE PHONE/TABLET CAN BE DAMAGED. :( Really? It doesn't sound like something I want to do. :) Maybe you too. So use with caution.

I transferred info from an iPhone to a galaxy 6 via the cloud. However it would not transfer the events listed on calendar and a few other items. When I connected the adapter, everything transferred ..

I purchased the Galaxy Tab E and the micro-USB-to-USB adapter on the advice from a friend for two uses. First to view mp4 woodworking files in my shop rather then having a lap top or desk top in my dusty shop. As I already had multiple jump drives it only made sense to purchase the USB adapter which allowed me to store many mp4 video files on them and view them in my shop. The second reason was to be able to down load 50's and 60's music videos to show my friends who aren't computer savvy how easy it is to use the tablet with the micro-USB adapter to view their favorite music. I now have them thinking about purchasing their own tablet and adapter.

This worked great to be able to use my 750 gB external hard drive with my galaxy S4. It worked for using 8 gB thumb drive on my galaxy S6. Highly recommended if you are unable to use a laptop or desktop.

This little miracle worked out great for me. I had a crushed screen on my smartphone, that made it impossible for me to use the phone. My back screen showed up fine but, my bracken touch screen wouldn't read my fingers anymore. I have a ton of stuff on the phone, I neglected to backup, and needed get to. I plugged this device into my smartphones charge port, and a wireless mouse usb, into the other side. Boom! Instant access to my phone, like a mouse on a computer monitor. So this works out perfectly for me, until I get my touchscreen glass replaced.
