• Yes absolutely!!! contacts...photos....pictures all transfer over. No charge to do that.

• If everything is backed up to a cloud site such as Google or Verizon Cloud for example, then there should be no problem with downloading it to the new phone. This worked fine from Note 8 to Note 20. All apps and data made the transfer.
