If the issue started after you installed a screen protector, then go to Settings >Advanced features > Touch Sensitivity. Enable the setting to increase touch sensitivity for use with screen protectors. Hopefully that solves your issue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No its not. I saw the answer about the screen protector, the thing I've noticed is my mother is very old and for some reason her finger don't seem to work as well when pressing on my screen (all my phones...capacitance? winkled skin?) I'm serious...I've seen her press 3 or 4 times on the screen I take it out of her hands and press once and boom...the solution for her was to go into the settings and turn on - increase sensitivity (which is suppose to be if you are using your phone with gloves on...please don't laugh) but that did the trick
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No there should be a sensitivity setting. Depending on your case that may be the problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, I'm not having that problem at all.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. To my account
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That doesn't seem normal and I would have it checked at the store where you bought it. Now there can be an advantage to your problem. With my Note 4, it was so sensitive that just hovering my fingertip over a letter or hotlink would frequently cause the screen to react. This was too sensitive and I prefer a more firm/positive touch. Perhaps your mother is inadvertently touching the side of the screen while pressing the keys. Touching the side or edge of the screen can thus negate the effect of finger taps on other keys. Make sure she has a nice case one the phone with sides high enough to avoid accidentally touching the edges.
