• Yes, I bought mine unlocked and was able to just insert my old Samsung S6 edge's T-Mobile SIM card and start calling immediately. Also, the Google account transferred all my contacts, pictures, and memos. Very easy!

• I bought and took to Mexico. It worked great on TelCel Mexico. You may have to contact your provider to activate your sim card
