QuestionI am a AT&T user, and I wanna buy a unlocked version. There are two options, the first one is Verizon, the other is Activate Later. Isn't the unlocked mean I can use it whichever my carrier is? Why do I still need to be Verizon User to activate the phone?

- Answer Yes you need to open a new line. If you are a Verizon customer, you just need it to be activated on existing line. May be open a new line close it if 200$ is worth for it.

- Answer The person I purchased this for is a Cricket user and has had no problem in the past using the Cricket SIM card in unlocked Samsung smart phones. If you request a SIM card from Virgin Mobile I know of no reason why it wouldn't work. Double check with a Best Buy rep to be sure.
