You keep your old phone, there's no trade it; occasionally Best buy does trade in. Customers must qualify to take advantage of Verizon Edge. You can enter into a new Verizon Edge agreement, which allows you to spread the retail price of your new phone or tablet over 24 months. After 30 days and with 75% of the original Edge device paid off, you can turn in your old device for a new one. If you’re a new customer, you’ll need to pass a credit check. Prepaid accounts are not eligible, so if you’re currently a Prepaid customer, you’ll need to switch to a post-pay service agreement before enrolling in Verizon Edge.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends if you're fully eligible or only early EDGE eligible. If you're fully upgrade-ready you can just start a new EDGE plan and also trade in your phone. If you've had your phone for less than two years, you'll have to send your phone back to Verizon before you can start your new EDGE program. But that's better than having to wait until your two years are up.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If u have Verizon and u r still under contract u are responsible for sending it back to them so u r not charged termination fees but Best Buy will provide you with the envelope and prepaid shipping label . Very easy . If u r not under contract and the phone is in good condition and still works they will take it on trade towards the Edge program .
