WHAT DOES UNLOCKED MEAN? null

Unlocked means it is not locked to ONE carrier, for example ATT or Sprint. I means you can put another chip in it and it'll work if the phone supports the bands of the provider.

Factory Unlocked for Samsung and LG for US versions typically mean all the radio frequencies used by US carriers are turned on. Beware of phones that are gsm only.
