“I was looking at Best Buy to upgrade my Verizon phones...noticed verbage (for lack of a better term) near the end of the page when about to finalize the order that states something to the effect that doing so would change my plan. Can anyone clarify?”

I bought mine in store and it did not change my plan. I have Verizon. It just changed the amount my bill is due to adding the phone payment. I have been upgrading my phone at Best Buy for years and only one time did my plan change. But I like to do it in person in case there is an issue.
