“I was shocked upgrading from S8 to S10 and learned they did away with the notification light! Edge lighting is nice, but it only flashes ONCE, not every 5 seconds like notification light did. USELESS! Does S20 edge lighting notification continue to flash?”

No. You can however set repeat notifications-on both your s10 and s20. This makes the phone repeat vibrations or notification sounds every time interval set.
