• SIM already comes pre installed so need to go to Verizon.

• If you purchase the phone at Best Buy with the intent of activating it through Verizon, the new phone comes with a new SD card

• You should be able to use the same sim card as long as it's the same carrier you have now. You'll have to let your carrier know to change the active phone on your account though
