I bought the new S22+ and they just took the old SIM card and transfered to the new phone. No # change.

Honestly no SIM cards are SIM cards SIM cards are not determined by your speed do your identification to your phone service basically your phone number.... If you put your sim card into the new phone it will still be fine as long as it's not MetroPCS or anything similar because you'll have to call or go up to to manually change it assistant for it to straight connect....

Yes. You will need to get a 5g enabled sim card for this phone. You can also try esim activation of available.
