Yes - as long as you are using an at&t SIM. S6 can also be SIM unlocked (either through at&t - for which they will typically ask you to maintain a subscription for period of time (usually not more than 60 days) - or through an online service for $10-$20).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can! I just did about a month ago. Previously, I was under the assumption that this was not possible. But, it turns out that it is. Thanx to Cheyenne at the Pottstown Best Buy I was able to purchase the Samsung Galaxy S6, 32GB model, for full price and activate it with AT&T's no contact Go Phone Plan for $60 a month.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.AT&T is in the wrong by telling you that you cannot purchase the phone w/o a contract. They, including Best Buy, can sell the phone to you w/o a contract, but you will have to purchase the phone outright. Meaning you'd have to pay the purchase price of the phone, whatever it may be. You would be looking at several hundred dollars.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Why in God's name would you do that? I can think of no possible situation where that is a smart move.
