“Is there a hidden Fee? I'm Unfamiliar with Unlocked phones as I've been with AT&T for over 22 years. If I get the unlocked version am I saving $150 with no fees to Activate it on AT&T? Can I activate in the Best Buy store when I pick it up tomorrow?”

Any fees incurred would be that of the service provider you select and have nothing to do with the unlocked nature of the phone. Shop around if you are no longer under contract with AT&T.
