Take the phone to your carrier's store" (Sprint, AT&T, etc.) and have the techs there check it out for free; the issue may be able to be corrected without cost to you. When I had a problem with my phone, I went to a Sprint store instead of Best Buy and the techs at Sprint were able to get my phone working again without any expense to me because I am a Sprint customer. I can take it in as often as I like without incurring any expense. I tend to like that.

First, let's make sure the device is up to date by checking the software. Secondly, you can test the device in safe mode to see if possibly any third-party apps are causing this to happen. To activate Safe Mode, please power your device down, then power it back on, pressing and holding the Volume Down key when you see the Samsung logo. You’ll know it’s active because the words “Safe Mode” will appear in the bottom left-hand corner.
