Yes, Samsung Pay works just fine. Some downsides of getting an Unlocked model is that some carrier-specific features might not work such as VoLTE, carrier visual voicemail, and Wifi calling.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes!! The unlocked phones comes with the Samsung Pay app already installed...and it does work. All you need to do is setup your credit card info and secure password/fingerprint to process the bill pay and you are good to go. And NO, there are absolutely no downsides to having the unlocked version of this phone. It's ACTUALLY quite LIBERATING to be able to shop freely between provider plans when package promotions occur to give you the CONSUMER the BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCKS!! And the most amazing thing about the unlocked S8/S8+ is it self detects your SIM card provider automatically and self adjusts the phone to that network provider's settings until you decide to change provider's. Just ALWAYS BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR PHONE'S MEID # WITH THE SIM CARD PROVIDER'S COMPATIBILITY SECTION OF THEIR WEBSITE AND ALSO BE SURE TO PURCHASE THE CORRECT SIM CARD FOR THE NETWORK YOU DESIRE AS SOME WIRELESS COMPANIES RUN ON CDMA-which design their own 4G LTE operations and then there is the GSM- which under national guidelines by the Global System for Mobiles. Good luck!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I use android and samsung pay. Samsung pay works more often than android currently, oddly some stores will take samsung but not the other. There are only upsides to getting an unlocked phone. Some of the major carriers are now trapping people by having them pay monthly on phones, so in a sense "rent-to-own". Unlocked phones give you the power, you can take it to whatever carrier you want or whatever is best for your area. Plus, the phone doesn't come with all those mandatory apps that the major carriers do.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes Samsung Pay works perfectly fine on it, the only "downside" is you're NOT locked to any specific carrier, I think you are confusing unlocked with rooted, completely different.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This phone is unlocked. The other information you requested is not currently available.
