A:AnswerIm wondering the same thing about the cdma. I've done several hours of research (for unlocked), and not found any (s9's) that are cdma compatible. They've all been gsm only,
And They all specify that They will NOT work with cdma. I have a galaxy S8, I purchased it back in the summer, and it IS cdma compatible, but in my research that I've been doing, I can't find an unlocked S8 now that is cdma compatible, , They have all switched to gsm only. And I've not done very much research about the 128Gb, but I have seen some s9's that can go that high. (I'm fairly certain that They take sd cards.)
P.S. I read an article that said that all cells will run off of GSM within a few years, but idk if its true, just an article i found on the internet.
A:AnswerI can relate, but after I reviewed the S9 & other similar phones, it was still the best purchase for the money (w/o the $50 credit that was only applied if you activated a new AT&T number). I purchase my S9 that same day and have never regretted my purchase. I was a die-hard HTC phone owner, but this phone has so many features I have seen and wish I had. Now I do. Everything on the phone is top notch and has features I am using I Ijust dreamed of having. I hope you decide to still purchase the S9. The add'l $50 will become a pleasant memory.
A:AnswerNo phone is drop proof, including the Samsung Active series. I had an active and I can tell you if you drop it and it hits something or at a certain strike point, it will be a bad result regardless. I recommend you buy a proper case that actually goes up over the ends and curved edges such that if dropped flat, it will hit the case and not the glass screen. They also have cases that have snap on protective screens that cover the original screen if you are really worried. Look online for these cases vs Best Buy in the store where the choices are more limited and more expensive.
A:AnswerIt will if Verizon has unlocked it. Any phone S8 and after cover all bands; which means unlocked phone is actually unlocked to work on any career.
A:Answerafter your contract is over you should be able to after you contact at&t to have them unlock it. (carrier may not do it) the phone will be 2yrs old, time for a new one so why bother :-)
