I was told that it varies with which carrier you use. I use Verizon, so I am paying for 24 months, but after I make the first monthly payment I am going to pay the phone off. That is what the salesman told me to do.

Only way Verizon will allow purchase is a two-year payment plan, though there is no contract (wink, wink); what's the diference? ... Symantecs. I went to Best Buy recvd the sale discount Verizon offered, and got a 1 yr change, on my Best Buy credit , no interest.
