Your signal strength depends on the carrier in your area. Newer phones have new and stronger technologies, but if you don't have a strong signal where you are no phone is going to make it better.

Please try again later.I would talk to Verizon as we travel in all of the western states and some east and central and Verizon is the only service that has worked well for us. Also the S9 is a fantastic phone and they may have even better deals with the S10 coming out in a few days.
