You'll end up having to go through Verizon and you'll get a credit towards the phone butt it can be a pain in the butt trying to get stuff situated in the Verizon I ended up having to call Verizon spend an hour on the phone still didn't get it resolved

You dont get cash back for your trade-in, it goes towards your upgrade. I dont believe itl reduce the monthly payments. I suggest you call a rep to double check.
