- Answer I recently took a trip to costa rica and it worked their, it should be the same for mexico. Check with your cell phone provider for cell coverage.

- Answer Am from one of the Caribbean islands. The phone is unlocked and I have a choice to switch to any mobile service provider. Since it's unlocked (sim card access), can be used. Thus far no issues and hope future updates doesn't compromise use. Good buy

- Answer Yes. It was water resistant instead of water proof because there is a limit. It can go up to 5ft under water for no more than 30 min.
