Im wondering the same thing about the cdma. I've done several hours of research (for unlocked), and not found any (s9's) that are cdma compatible. They've all been gsm only,
 And They all specify that They will NOT work with cdma. I have a galaxy S8, I purchased it back in the summer, and it IS cdma compatible, but in my research that I've been doing, I can't find an unlocked S8 now that is cdma compatible, , They have all switched to gsm only. And I've not done very much research about the 128Gb, but I have seen some s9's that can go that high. (I'm fairly certain that They take sd cards.) 
P.S. I read an article that said that all cells will run off of GSM within a few years, but idk if its true, just an article i found on the internet.
