Good day, thank you for asking us your question about the Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2. Yes, the advertised Galaxy SmartTag2 can find your phone by making your device ring, even on silent, when you double-press the tag's button. They must be within Bluetooth range and connected. This works in reverse too, helping you find your tag from your phone using SmartThings Find and Compass View. You must enable this "find phone" feature in the SmartThings app for it to work, and your phone rings if it's connected to the tag. Hope that helps!
