Greetings JayL, thank you for taking the time to ask us your question about the Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2. The advertised Galaxy SmartTag2 does not store location data directly on the device itself. Instead, it tracks past movements by recording the location history (up to 7 days) within the Samsung SmartThings Find network.
