A:AnswerYes, I too have an older Galaxy Tab that only received one update over many years, but this new one updated from android 9 to 10 within 24 hours of activation here in the USA. It also received the newest security patch update so Samsung seems to have got it right so far.
A:AnswerI've been able to use the rubber-tipped stylus that can be purchased and have used it to be more accurate than just using my fingers. I have not yet found one that is fine point like the S-pen on my Note 9. You'll need to find one that works with a capacitative screen. Some have soft fine copper tips or copper foil tips but worry about scratching the screen. They are expensive too and some have latency issues or other issues. Read the reviews. I haven't chosen one yet.
