A: wow who did that...? anyway - an ipad is an apple product that runs on the IOS and has its own way of doing things as opposed to the samsung running on the ANDROID system. now that difference is hard to explain except that you will find many many more android devices then ipads. more options for apps and many are free with the android in the google play store whereas ipad and apple using the itunes store have a lower number of apps available and less free ones. seems to be more options and flexibility in the android systems but many like the stability of the apple's Iphones and ipads, some say if your not a techie kinda person you might go with the ipad as it has less to do/mess with, but if you want options like sd card for added storage and customization freedom, android is the way to go. and cost wise almost all android devices will be cheaper then an apple device. hope this helps and have fun choosing.... Q: Is Microsoft word and excel on this and what about windows 10 and PowerPoint
A: This tablet runs on the Android operating system. It is a mobile based platform and does not have Windows features. To specify, Native windows applications wont run on this device. The software that can run on this device is what you can find on the Google play store. That being said, you do have some access to the Microsoft office suite (Word, Powerpoint & Excel.) If you wish to run the windows operating system, this device is not for you. I do use this device alongside my computer as a portable device to work on the go on documents or read, mark and comment on pdfs. It all depends on what you need from the device you want. Q: What apps are included with tablet
A: Basic Samsung and Google apps, otherwise it's mostly free of any bloat.
Q: Is there a pen available for this for purchase and can Lightroom Mobile be installed for use?
A: I use a capacitance type pen on this tablet. However it is NOT the same as the Samsung pen or the equivalent iOS pen. I don't have pressure control. It basically emulates your finger when it touches the screen. The particular pen I use has both a standard tip and a fine point tip. The fine point is useful for simple line drawings and note taking (say, with MS OneNote), but not detailed fine art drawing. It works for SIMPLE pen functions, but not for advanced use.
