This tablet runs on the Android operating system. It is a mobile based platform and does not have Windows features. To specify, Native windows applications wont run on this device. The software that can run on this device is what you can find on the Google play store. That being said, you do have some access to the Microsoft office suite (Word, Powerpoint & Excel.) If you wish to run the windows operating system, this device is not for you. I do use this device alongside my computer as a portable device to work on the go on documents or read, mark and comment on pdfs. It all depends on what you need from the device you want.
