It has a slot for an SD card. I think up to a 400 GB card. Your tablet uses both memories except your apps will go to the internet drive. You can set your tablet up for everything else to be stored to the SD card. I put a 128GB Card into mine so now you get 32GB +128GB. Your tablet set up uses about 20% of the initial internal memory.
