A:AnswerYes. I have a Nook and a Kindle account and both transferred content over without a hitch. This device also accepts micro-SD cards so if you have any concerns, you can copy your content to a micro-SD card and use that to transfer files.
A:AnswerI am not aware of a default app that lets you do this, though there may be one. However there are free apps like Google Handwriting Input that allow you to do this. I have not used this much and cannot say how well it works. If you have an android phone I would download it and try it out on there and if you like it, it will work the same on the tablet.
