It will connect to a keyboard cover sold by Samsung, not any other standard keyboard. The s6 tablet is more suited for replacing a laptop to use with word.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I purchased the key board cover made for this Tablet at Best Buy, it works for my needs. You could probably hook one up through a class c usb adapter hub. As to the other question, I haven't tried to down load that type of soft ware since this is a android tablet and don't know if it will run Microsoft word. I might try to see if it can to perk my own curiosity.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.They sell a cover with built in keyboard, or you could connect via bluetooth. You can load Word, but they make you have an Office 365 license. I haven't been in college in awhile so don't know all you need to do. This might work for you, or you might be better with the more business oriented S6, which comes with the "S Pen" and other such features,
